I was not the first to get into mountain bike, Nick has been riding one for years, but I definitely started the craze.
I got my first bike a Claud Butler Olympus XT on the company's bike to work scheme, this started the ball rolling with the other boys. Marc and Colin quickly followed then Tony and Hobbo splashed the cash. This made it a whole lot better as now there is always somebody to go for a ride with.
Recently bought a new bike, a Lapierre Spicy 316 which will hopefully make me faster and more brave.
A good rider now I feel with a good level of fitness thanks to also running every week, but not much good at any tricks other than a few jumps. Just starting to get manuals and bunny hops sorted. Love the North York Moors and Dalby Forest for riding and would love to have a go at the Mega Avalanche.
